"A Tribe Called Quest's first two albums (People's Instinctive Travels and The Low End Theory) are classics, required listening for any fan of hip-hop or music in general. Due to the outstanding quality of the tracks on those albums, it would be pretty hard to remix them and do justice. Only a few of the remixes on Revised Quest For The Seasoned Traveller really give the originals some competition: the upbeat, horn-infused "Scenario (Young Nation Mix)", a harder version of "Jazz (We've Got)" with new lyrics and production, and "Can I Kick It? (Extended Boilerhouse Mix)." The rest ranges from good to mediocre. The remix of "Pubic Enemy" is funkier than the original, but still nice while the remix of "Check The Rhime" seems too tame and overly-poppy. The first remix of "Bonita Applebum" is okay, the version of "Description of A Fool" isn't much different from the original except for its length, the "Butter" remix is nowhere near as good as the original, and the remixes of "I Left My Wallet..." and "Luck Of Lucien" are mediocre. "Bonita Applebum (Hootie Mix)," with new lyrics and a nice beat, was one of the first tracks to use the "Between The Sheets" sample that has been done to death over the years. The addition of the hard-to-find "If The Papes Come" is a nice touch too as its a classic Tribe track. The "Spirit Mix" of "Can I Kick It?" should have been included here, but sadly, it's missing. In conclusion, if you're a die-hard fan of A Tribe Called Quest, pick this up. If not, you might want to pass as you're not missing anything too spectacular. Stick with The Low End Theory and People's Instinctive Travels... instead."
A must have for Tribe fans

"You may think that the price is too much for a cd. But the beats on this disc are the bomb. Combining both old and new Tribe remixes make this album a necessity for any and all Tribe Called Quest fans."
