Phil Davis | Seattle, WA USA | 10/05/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I have always wondered what it would be like to hear some of these classic melodies performed in a scaled down orchestral setting or chamber ensemble. This disc did not dissappoint; by stripping down the elements of McCartney's works to four single musical lines (2 violins, viola and bass), we are able to dissect the elements that make McCartney's writing style truly great! "Macca" had a sense of melody and musical storytelling unlike any other, and these arrangements reflect those qualities beautifully. I recommend this to any Macca fan. I especially loved "Hey Jude" --and all the Wings material!"
