"Oh MAN! If you were a teenager on the east coast with an ear to Black music in the early 80s, you KNOW about this! Chcuk Brown and the Soul Searchers introduced the world to Washington DC's homebrewed "Go-go" music a few years earlier, but TROUBLE FUNK took it to the next level. Aside from the ballad "Don't Try To Use Me" (which is not bad), this is a CD you CAN'T SIT DOWN and listen to! You GOTS TO move when you hear Trouble Funk do their thing! Unfortuantely, since the R&B of the early 80s was woefully underpromoted outside of England and Black America, this is not as well known as it should be. But give it a listen and you won't sit still!"
Not the Original

"This is NOT the original album...no "Pump Me Up", no "Don't Try To Use Me"...? If you're hoping to go back down memory lane, this is not the album that does it. Me thinks it shoulda been given a different title. An oversight on the part of the label...right?"
