The debut CD from Beaumont, TX singer/songwriter Troy Allan features 10 original songs. Just South Of Corpus showcases a unique blend of country and tropical sound. Songs such as Broke, Margarita M.A.F.I.A, and I'm Gettin' Lucky Tonight combine with the title track to provide listeners with a fun, yet meaningful look life. Troy Allan was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2008 My Texas Music Awards, while "Just South of Corpus" was up for Song of the Year at the same awards. When he's not playing his own music, Allan mans the bass guitar for Texas Trop-Rock act Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef, which lead to him being honored by the Margarita Mafia as it's "Musician of the Year" at the 2008 Trop-Rock Awards in Key West, FL.
