"This is the most recent album of all original material by Los Tubos - AKA The Tubes. Full of humor as well as serious commentary, it's the music that ties it all together. Precision drumming by Prairie Prince, silken harmonies, killer guitar and chunky bouncable rhythms all come together in a way like no other band. They make me smile while I'm tapping my toes! If you've got all the classic Tubes stuff by all means get this - if only to hear Fee sing "Did you know that I was once famous" on "Fastest Gun Alive"... a sly song that rewards additional listening. These guys are still kicking."
One last great studio album

"Over 10 years between their previous studio release and this, the last studio album. The Tubes' musicianship and song writing remain unparalleled as usual. Though there are no hit "singles" from this LP the quality is there. The diversity of style and production is impressive, as usual.
The Tubes are not just underappreciated, they are still one of the best rock bands of all time, and this LP is another gem in an impressive catalogue."
