"YES! Finally some music from the middle years of the Tubes while they were at A&M. This 2 CD set tries to give us what we want...more music from the Tubes. Why A&M doesn't release these classic LPs on CD (can anyone say two-fer?) is beyond me. I am sure some marketing bozo has his/her reasons. So until those seminal recordings see the light of day on CD, this one will have to do."

Worth every penny

"A two-disc set that features some rare and otherwise unavailable-on-CD tracks from their 1977 LP "NOW". Plus, it features the entire "Remote Control" album, one of their best studio efforts. The extensive liner notes are an interesting read, and this disc set is rare enough that it will soon fetch a pretty penny on eBay, though I don't know why anyone would choose to part with this one."

"For the uninitiated, this CD provides a nice comprehensive overview of all that made The Tubes the greatest rock and roll band in the history of recorded sound. But don't expect the polished 1980s sound that you may know from the radio. For that, you'll need the Capitol records' "Greatest Hits" collection (which would complement this nicely). For the true fan, this is a must-have, as it is the only digital source of several songs from the "Now" album which has yet to be released on CD. A&M RECORDS- WAKE UP!Buy this disc- You cannot go wrong with any CD that contains three versions of White Punks on Dope. If you buy this, you will never need to purchase "Remote Control" as the CD is included in its entirety. It would have been nice if the disc included a few more tunes from Now- or perhaps a few otherwise unavailable tracks from "Suffer For Sound" (which was never released on LP or CD), but I quibble. This is a must for anyone who claims to have a CD collection of any consequence. A&M GET US MORE TUBES!"
