"Tuli Kupferberg's first solo release with side one of Tuli & Friends... "an album of Popular Poetry, Pop Poetry. Real Advertisements. As they appeared in newspapers, magazines, in direct mail, a company info bulletin, as a schoolroom flyer. No word has been added. Parts of some have been repeated. Parts of some omitted. But these are the very texts. These are for real!""

"Amazing avant garde/beat/writer/illustrationist/poet/musician/comic artist in top form with creative prowess running loose and free. This is true brilliant ad renderings from newspapers with Tuli's gift of satirical air. If you are reading this you probably know that Tuli was one of the co-founders of The Fugs and they are still recording great new creative material and doing great. I have this also on the original Lp and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great satirical/creative/poetic and humorous wit and also anyone who loves The Fugs. This is a true collectors gem and should be rereleased and put back into circulation for distribution. We need to form a coalition for all of Tuli's works to be reprinted and made available to the mass public. Now that's an idea. Do yourself a favor and grab this wonderful piece of brilliant artistic history while it's still available. Check out his collection of books."
