"This is a nice little cd that includes nine songs in which most have really good beats. And the sensibility is funny and sometimes ridiculous, almost as if Michael Heilman is trying to hide his wit; but his mental sharpness on things like human nature and love is probably more evident since the lyrics are heard so obviously.



The band sounds lively, even though the production is kind of bare. With a bit more money, the passion and humor of Heilman's songwriting could have been conveyed more properly by coming across more thunderous.



This one may be tough to come across due to a low print release, but if you can find it, I'd suggest purchasing it. The balance of country, rock n' roll and blues is not calculated but instead is natural and, overall, is a fun listen."
