"Ty Herndon has had an incredible career so far and this new addition to his library of hits is a strong comeback for a very underrated country performer. Possibly one of his strongest vocal performances yet, "Right About Now" delivers a power-packed performance with some of his most brillant deliveries yet. The album starts with "Someday Soon" a powerful vocal song of love...."Love is gonna build a bridge from me to you....." and Ty's fans will admit that this song does so. The next ballad is possibly built to be one of his biggest hits "In The Arms Of The One Who Loves Me" brings this CD home. The song shows how strong his vocals still are, holding each note with the lilting tune and his wavering vocal shows so much emotion the way only Ty can deliver it.This song soars. The next tune "You Still Own Me" tells a tale of a love that never can be left behind..."I can do what I,wanna do, be who I wanna be, dream what I wanna dream, but baby, you still own me...." Each and every vocal on this CD is filled with so much emotion, that the listener can feel every lyric with each heart wretching note. Another stand out hit is "Mighty Mighty Love" which has enough power to make it a standard Herndon hit.The title song "Right About Now" is a song of longing for lost love. Another strong tune that could rightfully be a hit. It is a song of missed opportunity in a relationship gone wrong and learning from your mistakes...."Right about now I wish I was more than a memory to her...."The next tune, Love Revival" is a bit more upbeat. A song of love about rediscovering a love that has slipped a bit and longing to revive past feelings. It is a song of love and hope. The next track, "Hide" I think is a bit different as far as country tunes go, but the lyrics are great about trying to show someone there is still hope for love after they have given up. A great song. the music and lyrics are strong and full of promise. "Mercy Line" is a country bopper filled with gospel overtones, yet another song of love renewal. The tune is upbeat and a definite toe tapper. The ninth track, "We Are" is a traditional ballad, love song that Ty has done so well for all these years. A beautiful love song that is worthy of a hit single. "If I Could Only Have Her Love Back" is an awesome song of love lost and longing with a strong country pop backbeat that makes it a strong contender as a hit also. There is not one weak tune on this CD. The closing song, "There Will Be A Better Day" is the final song tying up this awesome package of potential hits. It is a strong ballad of hope and prayer for a better day. Each song has you bopping your head along to the music....it is great country pop, even the sad songs have an upbeat quality that perhaps Herndon himself has finally found himself. The man is a great talent, but has had a hard climb to the top clouded by much controversy. Perhaps this album will be anew beginning and a positive outlook for the artist. Each song is a beautiful testiment of love, whether heartbreak or lovesick, these songs are filled with powerful performances that will convince fans and newcomers alike that Ty is back to stay. Every selection is brilliantly rendered. This is sure to be one of his strongest efforts and should top the country pop charts. "Ty Herndon is back with the album of his career! The long wait was definitely worth it. This cd contains some of the best material that Ty has ever recorded. "Mighty Mighty Love" is my vote for best song on the cd - just the right blend of country and pop, topped off with an amazing vocal from Ty and uplifting choir backing. Country music doesn't get any better than this! Welcome back Ty!"
