CD ReviewsNot THAT bad 04/21/2004 (3 out of 5 stars) "First off, this is NOT a live album as the editorial review above states.Despite the opinions of some Dogs D'amour / Tyla fans, this album is not that bad. It is definitely a different direction, however. The album has a sort of techno / industrial feel to it and is a far cry from anything Tyla has done previously. Being a fan since 1988 and having heard a lot of negativity directed towards the album, I was leery of purchasing it. I decided to be the judge myself however, and was not disappointed after giving it a listen. Even though the music may not exactly be my cup of tea, I respect the man for having the nerve to try something different. Some of the stand out tracks are "Love," "Loneliness," and an interesting update of The Dogs D'amour classic "Princess Valium." Not perfect, but not too bad either."
