CD ReviewsGreat title song, too bad its not on the CD :( Pizza Man | Texas | 07/04/2007 (2 out of 5 stars) "If you like pop music Tyler Collins is a pretty good example of late 80's pop. These two songs are ok, I liked them> 5. Give and Take 6. I Only Wanted. Now lets get to the reason this got 2 stars instead of 4, and I was very disappointed with this purchase. The reason is that Tyler Collins one true charting pop hit, Girls Nite Out is not on this CD!! Well, the song is listed on the sleeve, but this is not the radio edit that you might have heard if you were around in 1990 and trust me the radio edit is SO MUCH BETTER than the track included (yes, I'm old). She has no greatest hits album and the only way to get the radio edit (That I know of) is on 12" LP record. I don't know about you, but my computer didn't come with a 12" vinyl drive and I don't want pops and scratches in my MP3's anyway.
\Begin Rant\ This goes out to all artists with lame versions of hit songs on the main album like this one, If you make a special version for the radio of a hit song I want that version on the regular album. There is 74 minutes of room on a CD, use it! If you hired a rapper to add flavor to your song, PAY them for one track and put it on your album (Paula Abdul - Opposites Attract) If you need someone to remix your song to make it good, PAY them (Samantha Fox - Naughty Girls (Need Love Too) Full Force Remix) this is missing from her greatest hits CD and I consider this verson BY FAR her greatest hit. If your song is so full of filthy language you have to change the chorus and lyrics for the radio, I want both versions! So many examples, I'd have to go with (Big Pun - Still Not A Player(Featuring Joe)) If you fire every member of your group before your first album is released and you have to re-record your #1 dance hit, I want both versions (Expose - Point of No Return) It took me over a decade to get that last one. In summary, if it is on the radio, I expect it on the main CD you release, NO EXCUSES!! \End Rant\" |
