Synopsis

Album Description
Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of the New York Goth Metal quartet's 1993 masterpiece including a bonus CD featuring eight rare tracks from the Bloody Kisses sessions and in-depth liner notes featuring new interviews and insight into the world of Type O Negative - making this package the complete collectors piece. The original album features infectious Doom-Pop epics, sarcastic hardcore screeds, bizarre noise interludes and a cover of Seals & Crofts' 'Summer Breeze' that somehow managed to be both lush and beefy. The album went Platinum on the strength of tracks like 'Christian Woman' and 'Black No. 1'. and remains the diamond in Type O's extensive back catalogue and one of the most elaborate revenge records of all time.

Type O Negative at their best! "Bloody Kisses" and "Blood and Fire" are my favorite tracks but the whole album is great. 5 stars.

"Whether you already own the original album or not at all, you need this album. This special edition contains everything from both versions of the original with a little extra. I know a lot of people complain about special editions and remaster versions; however, this one is worth the money if you love this album.

If you have never heard this or anything from this band and you are just starting out then this album along with "Slow, Deep, and Hard" are a great starting point. Buy It!!!"
