"RIGHT TIME ROCKERS (THE LOST ALBUM): As the title suggests, this Sound System reissue features the great U Roy deejaying a selection of Channel One's biggest rhythms, mostly from the Mighty Diamonds' massive RIGHT TIME long player. He also tackles classics like Leory Smart's BALLISTIC AFFAIR, Earth & Stone's WICKED DRESS BACK, and a couple of other Diamonds tunes from the same period, i.e. the late seventies. The mood in the studio is pretty informal - even more so than usual - and as U Roy himself might say, "kinda' cloudy", with the foundation deejay at his laid-back best, taking a leisurely ride on some truly wicked dub tracks. In fact, these sides sound like they were probably recorded for the sound system, and not necessarily meant for release as an album, "lost" or otherwise; but so what? These are crucial sounds from the best in town, the legendary U Roy. RIGHT TIME ROCKERS is definitely worth a listen."
