"Obviously only of limited appeal on first glance, one hearing was all it took me to be hooked - this is a noisy stomp of an album that is only slightly diminished by the fact you can't understand the words Best songs are probably the atmospheric 'Dity Plachut' and the wild 'Hopak'. Folk music you can pogo to. Cool."

"having always been a fan of punk music AND folk music, it was refreshing to hear this c.d., it truly is as if the ukrainians are the slavic answer to the pogues; i played this for an elderly ukrainian man and he cried, then, he wanted to buy some vodka.oi divchino(hey, girl) is fave song, rousing, ribald, liggins voice is the twin of nick cave, if this was a woman from kiev, id marry her!"
