"All right, folks. . . Here it is! The real "Gloria" -- Before Laura Branigan made it a pop classic in the 80's. Umberto Tozzi mixes a standard blend of strings, horns, and drums to produce classy 80's Italian pop music. Granted, some of the tunes are guilty of being "bubble-gum" music. But, that is part of the charm that makes this CD so great. It may be "bubble-gum" music; but it is effective and highly enjoyable. Umberto Tozzi features good natured; good, clean fun music -- such as Gloria. This is the kind of music you would play to make you feel good after a hard day at the office, or after a fight with your best friend. Good hearted, foot-stompin' Italian pop music at a decent price! What more can you ask for?"
