I'm new to this group, but love their sound. No 3 chord progressions with these gentlemen. I'm pleased that prog still exists and Univers Zero sets a high standard. If your brain can keep up with this album, then I highly recommend it. It's not for the fainthearted or for those wanting to hear the umpteenth version of "Louie Louie". Find a nice mountain road or serene desert scene and crank this album up and watch the fur fly." The Hard Quest was good but this one is in a darker vein. it is heavier and more rhythmically pounding. more drum based and generally percussive that the earlier albums i have heard. there is also some standout bass playing on the album among the other exceptional performances. i'm very happy with this album and can't believe anyone is still making this kind of music."
