"Wow, what an album.I first encountered 'More than Unplugged' while living in a van in New Zealand. No, times were not hard, I was a traveller with two intrepid mates - Mr M. Alonso (BSC Hons) and Mr A.G.C. Gifford (BPA-A). The van was our transport, our house and our friend. In the glovebox we discovered the tape that would transform our lives forever. No longer were distances measured in kilometers, but in minutes we had left to hear the next great song. Driving was changed from chore to pleasure, as we made our merry way round both North and South Island, blasting out tune after tune.We each had our particular favourite, including 'Anchorage', 'Suzanne' and 'Lean on Me'. The diversity of tracks created an atmosphere second to none - you could feel excited, melancholy and united all within the space of twenty minutes. The tape became integral to our bonding. At the end of our time in New Zealand we took it with us, (the tape, not the van) to Australia, where it was aired many more times in the suburbs of Sydney. More and more people learned the power of the tape. Then I set off up the coast of Oz, preaching the word of 'Unplugged, More Than' in places such as Fraser Island and Byron Bay. Sadly, when I took the tape on a sailing trip around the Whitsundays, I left it on the poop deck when I disembarked. I only realised my mistake several days later, too late to rescue the man overboard, and I thought it was lost forever. So imagine my joy when I found it on Amazon.com in CD format! I ordered it instantly and awaited in anticipation the delivery date. Indeed, it came 4 weeks early, and I turned the volume on my stereo up to max and basked in the glorious melodies that I thought were gone forever. The album is an intrinsic part of my travelling memories, and now that we are reunited I shall begin once more to spread the unplugged love, this time around London town. So, I guess what I'm saying is, I like this album and would reccommend it to you all. Thanks for listening."
