Genre-defying masterpiece!

"Pretty incredable album from this unheralded band from Cali, I heard a sample of 45 seconds and had to buy it. Outside of John Zorn , I don't know who else could have done an album with so much variety. But it's not your usual generic jazz to generic lounge etc... It's really precise math rock (45 seconds)to complete 60's free jazz(descension) to ambient pieces(dark rainbow! ) to experimental minimalist(modulations 4) they actually only use a record player and a record for this song and it doesn't have anything to do with dj's or techno. Kind of reminds me indie Steve Reich.Fans of bands like Don Caballero, Gastr del sol, Peter Brotzmann,Totoise, Merzbow and Faust should really check this thing out! I'm surprised more isn't written about them."
