"This track is one of the best Jpop songs I have ever heard. It is a little bit of everything sewn together with Utada's lyrical voice. You can distinctly hear the R&B, rock, and pop influence that has made the "Hikki" sound. This track, like many of the others, show her her talent as a songwriter and singer. THIS single, in particular, shows her growth and advancement as an artist with more fluid and poetic lyrics, more varied range of her voice, and the strength that was not quite developed in "First Love." Wait and See starts off with a single guitar chord and build up on that one chord. Builds up momentum and then..BREAKDOWN. A definite sign of R&B, and you gotta love it. The song ends appropriately with Hikki's laughter. This single will NOT dissappoint you. In addition, there are the accompanying tracks "Hayatochiri" and "Fly Me to the Moon." Hayatochiri is more on the funkier side. Slower, but funkier. It's what my friends call "cute," but in my opinion, it's just another cool song that you know only Utada Hikaru could pull off. And just FYI, Hayatochiri means something along the lines of .. "jumping to conclusions." Next track, Fly Me to the Moon. Made famous by Frank Senatra. Usually, I would be TOTALLY against the remakes of oldies, but amazingly, this song is not butchered by corny beats and a bad voice. In fact, Hikki does this song justice. A little slow for maybe the first half minute, but after Hikki does something that only hiphop can do (that UH YeA UH thing), bass comes in and suddenly becomes "hiphop flava." DEFINITE satisfaction. A MUST buy for ANY music lover and ESPECIALLY Jpop lovers!"

"I found out about Utadal Hikaru by looking up Sailor Moon songs (I know... I'm strange) Well any way... I came across "Fly Me to the Moon" which I love! Now I listen to it all the time! After that, I hade enough faith to get her CD, and I love that too! she's just so much like me... except I'm American, learning Japanese! I said it before, and I'll say it again... THIS IS A GREAT CD!"

"This classy, shining, latest release from Japan's leading young lady is a more rock ready track produced, again, by the fantastic Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Sounding more and more like a new(Japanese) Janet Jackson for the new Millennium, this sophisticated slice of J-Pop has a funky, dancey, backdrop overladen with typically heavy Minneapolis guitars and instrumentation >creating a Black Cat for 2000! As usual, Hikaru takes your breath away with her power-house vocals. Written by the young Talent herself, the song is infectious and is another delicious taster from the forthcoming follow-up album to her multi-million selling First Love. A 1st class release, complete with a fabulous pull-out photo sleeve, this CD also includes a gorgeous, downtempo souljam (that doesn't get an English title), a dreamy lullaby (Fly me to the moon -in other words) an instrumental Karaoke version of Wait and See + a superb, less noisy, house mix (the Baton Girl Mix =remixed by Jam and Lewis) for the dance fans. If you already love Hikaru, you will instantly notice the maturity evident in the track and rejoice in the listening pleasure. If you still haven't heard anything by her, then buy this CD single and brace yourself ready for the experience. ENJOY!"

"A very dancable track! In fact, I did dance to it at a club in Kagoshima, Japan. The music rocks and Hikaru's musical talent and maturity just continues to flower. Working with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis was a great idea! I like "Addicted to You" more, because I think it did a better job at displaying her vocals, but "Wait & See" is definitely not a disappointment. She does need to beware of ballads, as you will see with her rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon" on the CD. I've mentioned before that her voice is a little thin. I hope she continues to strengthen her vocals. But Hikki fans will definitely be waiting to see what she'll hit us with next :)."

"This CD is...well, amazing! Just as good as "First Love", if not a bit better! Hikki's songs have beautiful melodies and beautiful lyrics, so if you can't call HER good, I'm not sure what you could! I highly recommend this one. Her remake of "Fly Me To The Moon" is definitly the best remake of the song by Frank Sinatra, and her song "Hayatochiri" provides some cool and funky style. Ja ne!"
