Keith and Mike's love and respect for music began at an early age. Their childhood was filled with music, as their two oldest brothers played various instruments and both of their parents and four sisters sang. From this musical environment and with the influence of Motown greats such as The Supremes, Smokey Robison, The Miracles, and The Jackson Five, both Keith and Mike were motivated to begin playing instruments during their early childhood years. As years passed, the brothers' dedication to music became more apparent when they began writing their own lyrics and music and also making demos. In 1984, the Harvey family left Detroit and moved to Richmond, Virginia. There Keith and Mike met Stu Gardener, Musical Director for The Cosby Show. Stu taught them a great deal recording and writing cues for television scores. This relationship lasted for a continuous two years. Keith and Mike still appreciate what they learned in that time, as it has benefited them through the years. After years of playing in bands on the club scenes, the brothers decided to go back to the religious values that were instilled in their hearts as children. They also went back into the studio to create their own sound. This sound was influenced by the Motown artists they grew up listening to. Believing in God and knowing that through Him alone, all things are possible, and giving praise to their parents, Keith and Mike have never given up their dream of becoming recording artist and producers. In 1996, they began recording at Masters Sounds Studio in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Artist & Producers such as Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot,Genuine, and The Neptune's, produced and recorded hits I Just Wanna Love You, Can't Stand The Rain, and My Pony, while at this studio. Today Mike and Keith are at Sunrise Recording Studio in Glen Allen ,Virginia. They are now writing, recording and producing material for artist under their production company name Holyboyy Entertainment.
