"The Men of Honor soundtrack fits perfectly with the film. The ballads set a reflective tone and are representative of the values put forth by the film. The oldie classics by Marvin Gaye and the Temptations bring you right back to the historical setting of the film. Overall a good soundtrack."

"Mark Isham, who I am not too familiar with, writes great music for the film Men of Honor. The score is too short, which leaves it from getting 5 stars. The music is wonderful and left me wanting more. "The Navy Diver" contains the main theme and also was the original title of the film. The theme is performed by full orchestra and really shines. "Bounce Dive" and "Fouled" are two action cues that fit in well. The piano parts of "Jo" are heard in the background of the awesome Brian McKnight song "Win" which is a very inspirational song and should have been on the top of the music charts. Two other Motown classics include "I Wish It Would Rain" by The Temptations and "Say When" performed by Marvin Gaye. The best track and the one that gets all the glory is the last one "Men of Honor". It is absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. It starts with snare drums and then bursts into orchestral magic. This track will be in my CD player for many years to come. Truly a magnificent effort by Isham and i'm looking forward to his projects in the future."
