"I've bought 2 remix collections in the past: "Superstars #1 Hits Remixed" and this one. I'd have to say that I like this one better. "Superstars" only had edits, and I was incredibly disappointed. This one, however, has edits AND full mixes, which is a nice compromise.
Some of my favorites:
Steal My Sunshine (Skyjump Club Mix)-LEN (7:21): This was included on the SMS single. It's basically a faster version of the original with some added sounds and backbeats.
Shed Your Skin (Stephen Nikolas Club Mix)-Indigo Girls (9:02): An awesome tribal mix that'll get you up and moving in no time. It's TONS better than Tom Morello's remix, which was creepy and weird.
Tell Me (Cleve's I22 House Mix)-Groove Theory (7:22): The tender ballad gets an amazing and HOT house makeover! The singer has a lovely voice as well.
If You Love Me (Channel 9 Mix)-Brownstone (7:33): Another ballad gets the house treatment. The shimmering piano and incredible vocals make this one shine.
The Ballad of Cleo and Joe (Soul Solution Vocal Dub)-Cyndi Lauper (8:45): If you've seen my review of "Hey Now!: The Remix Project", you know I love this mix.
Chains (S&M Radio Edit)-Tina Arena (4:08): A Tony Moran "runway house" mix, complete with the finger snaps. Very sexy.
I Will Love Again (Hex Hector 12" Mix)-Lara Fabian (11:03): A dramatic, moving club remix that is very beautiful.
There are a lot of others I like, but I can't list them all, because there's so many! Anyway, I hope this review helped you."
WOW. This is some find for dance collectors.

"I got this CD for 10 bux at Best Buy. Although alot of the mixes are the radio edits, there are some full length gems here that make this well worth the purchase. Here are the long versions only for those who are curious:
1. Steal My Sunshine...Len (7:19)
2. Shed Your Skin...Indigo Girls (8:59) (this incredible dance mix was a prom only vinyl 12"!!!)
3. Stop the Rock...Apollo 440 (6:10)
4. Night in White Satin...Mario Frangoulis (10:04) (a previously unreleased Junior Vasquez mix. CRAZY!)
5. Ballad of Cleo & Joey...Cyndi Lauper (8:46) (the HOT soul solution mix)
6. Find My Way Back...Diana King (5:33)
7. Let's Go All The Way...React (5:47)
8. What's Your Sign...Desree (7:56)
9. If You Love Me...Brownstone (7:33) (hot house mix)
10. Tell me...Groove Theory (7:03) (another hot house mix)
11. Right Beside You...Sophie B Hawkins (5:30)
12. You Make Me Feel Mighty Real...Sandra Bernhard (8:44)
13. Gonna Make You Sweat...C&C Music Factory (6:47)
14. Rushdance...Big Audio Dynamite (8:04)
15. Power of Love/Love Power...Luther Vandross (10:28)
16. I Will Love Again...Lara Fabian (11:03) (Hex hector mix--I prefer the Thunderpuss mix)
17. One O'Clock....Sabelle (6:40)
18. Are You Jimmy Ray...Jimmy Ray (6:45) (Xenomania club mix)
Get this one while it's still around."

"Possibly the best dance compilation ever! I love almost all the tracks! My favorites are the Thunderpuss Radio Edit of "In My Pocket" by Mandy Moore, Tony Moran's S&M Mix of "Chains" by Tina Arena, Moran's mix of "Stay The Same" by former NKOTBer Joey McIntyre, "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" by Sandra Bernhard (surprisingly!), "She Ain't Got That" by Blaque (great sample from LL Cool J's "Going Back To Cali!"), "Rushdance" by Big Audio Dynamite, "Shackles (Praise You)" by Mary Mary, and the Frankie Knuckles remix of "Power Of Love/Love Power" by Luther Vandross. The only track I don't like is the Grand Style Mix of "I Try" by Macy Gray. Otherwise, it's great, even Butterfly by Crazy Town, even though the song is a direct rip-off of Limp Bizkit's style."
Awesome Dance Collection!

"I have to say that I have bought a lot of dance mixes in the past. You know how it is- half of it is good and the other half is junk and then you end up wasting your money. But I have to say....This is one HOT collection. I realize I am very picky when it comes to remixes but whoever produced this needs to come out with another one. For the price- you totally can't go wrong.
And the best part is that it comes with 3 Cd's!! I would say there are about four songs on the whole collection I could do without- and it's not that they are horrible- just not my taste. But the rest of it is Awesome. Also, what makes this mix stand out from the rest is the fact that for once it's not the same old dance songs like you find on every collection- a lot of them are new and original which is a huge bonus. Do not let some of the older songs on here turn you off- the remixes to the older songs are some of the best remixes on this collection- I highly recommend this CD- it's so worth the money!! :)"
Sony FINALLY does right by Dance/Club music fans

"Thank you SONY Records! You've partially renewed my faith in the big wheels that are behind the commercial music business. A great CD collection at a bargain price.
There are so many guilty pleasures and great remixes on this disc, many have yet to be released in CD format until now. If your a fan of club remixes of pop songs you will love this collection. Some of them are a bit dated, so you might have to be a fan of the genre to fully appreciate what this compilation is.
Here's to hoping they give the folks who dreamed up this release a promotion so that they can work their magic again. There are still many missing remixes from the vaults of Sony artists. This should become the first in a series of releases that finally gives us all the great mixes that have been commissioned for artists on the Sony Records roster."
