An absolutely excellent one-off.

"I really love Arf Arf's garage releases, and this one is certainly no exception. Several stunning mostly-60's garage tracks, cleaned up (for the most part) amazingly...it's all great, and there's really something for everyone, from the freak-out "I Wanna Hold your Hand" to "Love In" (which sounds suspiciously like two Fugs songs). If you like Nuggets and Pebbles, this will certainly be a delight."
30 Seconds Before the Calico Wall is excellent!

"To get a feel for the whole psychedelic music scene of 1966-67, this album delivers. Music was changing and this album reflects the changes (largely influenced by "mind-expanding" drugs (ha!)) One excellent slice of psychedelia is song "Apothecary Dream" by the Sound Sandwich (evidently a band out of Burbank, CA). Way ahead of it's time; excellent vocals with moving harmonies, and great playing by the band members, especially that budding guitarist. There are other choice pieces pulled out of time and put on this album - it will entertain you and, if you are from the era, it may even take you back down memory lane. Then again, they say if you can remember the '60s, you weren't there. Great album."
Highly recommended

"This CD is very very excelent, no further word. Also Beyond Calico wall is more intensive than this.I do not know how these artists and songs were not known by that time on these two collection CDs."
