CD ReviewsGreat sampling of ambient tunes J. Severino | Lubbock, Texas USA | 04/02/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "Most of the works in this compilation are of a more leisurely, relaxing pace. Some ambient music is more appropriate for a chill out room at a club, but this seems better suited for relaxing at home with a few friends or alone. The majority of the songs are very soothing and melodic, gradually lulling you in a half-lidded, restful state. The music itself is fairly minimalist, opting for carefully chosen and assembled tones over a wall of noise. Sometimes it almost feels as though you are drifting through space. My favorite tracks are Omicron's Nightfall, Selway's Inside Wasting Time, Human Mesh Dance's Freefall, and Escape Tank's Room 9."
