"This compillation is a wonderful mix of tango and folk music, but unfortunately, the artists are not listed. There are some excellent performances that deserve recognition, and it's a frustration for the listener not to know who the musicians/singers are. There are 2 instrumental tangos (tracks 2 and 6) and 3 that are sung: The old favorite, "La Cumparsita", "Padre Nuestro", and the fabulous Gardel/Razzano composition, "Mano a Mano" is given a terrific rendition. The rest of the songs are in the folk tradition. Standouts are "Chacarera de Santiago", and "Angelica", and it ends with Facundo Cabral's "No Soy de Aqui ni Soy de Alla"...a sensational poem/song that's over 7 minutes long and is a real gem.Like mentioned before, aside from the song/composer/time list, there's no info at all in the insert, but if you don't mind "mystery cds" and like this type of music, it will make a nice addition to your collection...over 38 minutes of musica con el alma y sonido de Argentina."
