"When deciding to buy this CD on amazon,I was a little hesitant since I could'nt sample the songs before buying,but thanks to the other reviews on the page I took my chances;and they were right the CD is GREAT!I love EVERY bangra beat on this CD.A good mix of male and female singers and beats,when you here it, you just can't help but DANCE.Both my children and I always dance around the house when the musics on.I have other bangra cd's but this one beats them all!!Wonderful!"

Too much pop

"While this CD is full of rhytmic tones and lyrics, it wasn't what I expected. My knowledge of Bhangra is limited but I was hoping for harder, faster, more inspiring songs for dance and excercise. I was hoping for Jazzy B-like tunes but instead I would say the songs are a bit to plain and sweet. They kind of reminds me of island music or old-school reggae."

"A friend of mine had a Bhangra CD and I really liked it, so I bought five different Bhangra/Punjabi dance CDs to try them out. Of the five, Bhangra: Original Punjabi Pop had the best variety. I highly recommend it if you are a beginner to the genre. And, no, you don't have to speak the language to enjoy it! I listen to it in my car, when I workout, cleaning the house. It gets your toes tapping! :o)
