Where there's politics (another major theme), there's Public Enemy, which delivers "Kill Em Live," their second cinematic contribution of the month, following their work on Spike Lee's He Got Game. Bulworth also offers some intriguing matches, as Dr. Dre teams with LL Cool J for "Zoom" and Fugee Pras Michel hooks up with Grammy favorite Ol' Dirty Bastard and R&B newcomer Mya on "Ghetto Supastar." For one thing all the songs here are pretty connected to the theme of the film.. You actually didnt have to see the movie to know what was going on.. The tracks here was a story with in a story .. It gets over to a hot start with in my opinion the best track on the entire CD Zoom performed by Dr. Dre and L.L. Cool J this track banging vintage Dre.. After hearing this song you will wonder why there havent been more collaborations between the two.. The dancefloor anthem Ghetto Superstar- Pras, O.D.B., Mya.. One of the most intriguing collaborations Canibus and African singer Youssou N Doir How Come , Some of the dirty south flava is represented on this disc with Witchdoctor and his blazing track Holiday/12 Scanner, Kill Em Live- Public Enemy , Run- Cappadonna.. All these tracks mentioned are great certainly worth the price of the CD so if you havent already pick this up and a true hip hop head dont let it pass you by again" Best soundtrack of all time! There are also good songs from Ice Cube and Mack 10, RZA, Cappadonna, witchdoctor, Black eyed peas, D-fyne, nutta butta and anonymous, Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, and the only (and i mean only) good song from Eve. When you see the movie you see how the songs and their themes flow into the movie and what is going on onscreen ("Ghetto Superstar", "Kill Em Live", "Maniac in the Brainiac"). It's tops man! I wish they had included part of Ennio Morricone's score on the cd though. It would have been great to introduce fans of orchestra or film scores to hip hop, and vice versa. great as is however."
