"No question about it, the ten cuts on this CD are hot. Every tune is better than the last. You start with an Acadian two-step, mosie into boogie, and high tale it into accordion blues. The assortment of artists and styles is thrilling. If you can find a copy of this CD, grab it.

"This is a reasonably good, if somewhat random, cross-section of Cajun and Zydeco music. Most hard-core Cajun or Zydeco fans will already have most of these cuts on other albums, and the randomness of the selections will not be fully enjoyable. However, for one who's just getting into these styles of music, this is a great "bang for your buck" album which will give you a reasonable introduction to many different artists and help you to find bands that suit your tastes more specifically."
