1. Inaya Day - Nasty Girl (Riffs & Rays Remix)...B+

Great song once the intro ends. Inaya's a great new vocalist, but this song will grow on you.

2. Dancing DJs Vs. Roxette - Fading Like a Flower (Hardino "Extended" Mix)...A

Way too short - the Clubland people cut off the majority of the 'extended Hardino mix'. Sounds dangerously like the original - is this really the Hardino mix? But besides that, this cover of the Roxette ballad is amazing. Great song if you like the repeat button. And please pardon my bad review for the Alex K remix on Clubland 8 - I like that song now ;-) lol

3. Bryan Adams - Run to You (Pascal Mix)...B

Strangely I like every other cover for this song better than this version, which contains the vocals from Bryan Adams' original. Seriously.

4. Thomas Falke - High Again (High on Emotion) (LMC Remix)...B-

Annoying, but soon you'll be singing along. "Hi-i-i-i on Emotion!!!!!"

5. Big Ang Feat. Siobhan - It's Over Now (Hardino Remix)...B-

How many Clublands has this song been on? This song is bad - don't like the vocals. Deborah Cox's version was a lot better.

6. Route-1 Feat. Jenny Frost - Crash Landing (DJ Demand Mix)...A

Torn over this version and the original, but I think the original version on Clubland 8 is a tad better. This is still a killer song with great vocals, lyrics, and music. Hard to beat.

7. Ultrabeat - Feel it With Me (Styles & Breeze Remix)...A-

A good hard trance song from Ultrabeat which isn't as good as CJ Stone's remix of "Better Than Life", or their first two hits, but it's still pretty good. The weird effect put on the vocals is pretty weird but the song's good anyway.

8. Holy Ghost - Superman (Dancing DJs Remix)...B-

I am so confused upon listening to this song. I feel like my head is caught in a blender. Something about this song is actually ok, though, I just can't name it.

9. M*A*S*H Feat. Stacie D - I Touch Myself (Love to Infinity Remix)...B-

Bad cover.

10. M&C Feat. Rebecca Rudd - Coming Back...A+

Best song on the album, mainly because Rebecca Rudd is an awesome vocalist who's in the best songs ("Do You Want it Right Now" and the outstanding "Elysium (I Go Crazy)"). This song is a cover of an unknown song from years ago which I have minimal information on (I found information about it on www.clubland.fm) but whatever! This song is amazing and quite well done.

11. Francesca - You Are the One (Flip & Fill Remix)...B+

This sounds like a classic Flip & Fill Remix.

12. Lee S Feat. Danielle - Not Over Yet...B+

A pretty good song.

13. Groove Coverage - Poison...A

An instant classic which has made Groove Coverage's career (even though I think their first hit "Moonlight Shadow" which seems pretty forgotten now was better).

14. Lisa Abott - Blow Me Away (Lee S Remix)...A-

Great vocals, great music.

15. System F - Cry (FNP Remix)...B

Decent.

16. Killa DJs Feat. Carrie Ryan - Freed From Desire...B+

A "killa" beat saves this otherwise mediocre song.

17. Camisra - Let Me Show You 2005...C+

Mediocre.

18. Darren Styles - Getting Better...A-

Great music from one half of Styles & Breeze.

19. Eyeopener - Sexy Eyes...B-

The music is good, but the lyrics and vocals are sooooo weird.

20. Flip & Fill - UR The Best Thing...A

Great vocals and music. Flip & Fill usually never dissapoints.



CD TWO



1. Jupiter Ace Feat. Shena - 1000 Years (Just Leave Me Now)...A

This is what house should be like. Shena (who was on the vocal version of Jurgen Vries' "The Wilderness" on Clubland 4) is an amazing vocalist who perfects this track.

2. Red Kult Feat. Mike & The Mechanics - Miracle (Roman Salzger Remix)...B+

Great, deep house.

3. Sunset Strippers - Falling Stars...B+

This new "repeat the same verse over and over and bathe in money" began with Eric Prydz's mediocre and overrated "Call on Me" and things just went downhill from there. "Falling Stars" is actually pretty good, but not if you don't like the same verses repeated A LOT.

4. Freeloaders Feat. The Real Thing...B-

Read what I said above, only this is mediocre and the verse repeated is really annoying.

5. Solasso Vs. Bananarama - Really Saying Something (Hardino Remix)...B

Decent.

6. Mirabeau - Back From Outer Space (Flower Power Mix)...B+

This is a pretty good remix of a pretty bad song. It samples from Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", but it does not do the original justice at all.

7. Gadjo - So Many Times...B+

Pretty good.

8. Mylo - In My Arms...B+

Another overrated artist whose "Doctor Pressure" hit was good but this is a pretty weak follow up. It's good anyways though.

9. Supafly vs. Fishbowl - Let's Get Down (Christos Vocal Remix)...B+

Good music but very weird vocals and lyrics.

10. Morjac...B

Good.

11. Praise Cats Feat. Andrea Love - Shined on Me (Bini & Martini Remix)...C+

Mediocre.

12. C-Mos - 2 Million Ways (Axwell Remix)...B+

Good music.

13. Plastic Dreams - Fuse (Move Your Body) (Young Punx Remix)...B+

Pretty good.

14. Slinkee Minx - Summer Rain (Alex K Remix)...A+

Ties with "Coming Back" for the best song on the album. Please excuse my review for this song on Clubland 6! This song is an amazing cover of Belinda Carlisle's original version. Wow, great music, great vocals, hard to dislike. And yes, this is Alex K's best remix ever.

15. United Nations - You & Me (Bimbo Jones Club Mix)...B+

Good music.

16. Terry Walker - This is My Time (Bimbo Jones Club Mix)...C+

Mediocre.

17. Ultra Nate - Freak On (Stonebridge Vocal Mix)...B+

Ultra Nate were amazing in the 90s and this isn't quite as good as their previous songs, but it's still good.

18. Scissor Sisters - Filthy/Gorgeous (Paperfaces Vocal Mix)...B+

This is a pretty good remix, but quite different than the original musicwise.

19. Hound Dogs - I Like Girls (Phunk Investigation Fantasy Mix)...C

Me too, but this song is horrible.

20. Bon Garcon - Freek U...C+

Pretty weird.

21. Bodyrockers - I Like the Way...A

Mixing rock and house seems pretty risky but this Coca-Cola commercial song pulls it off amazingly. If you don't dance to this, I will be quite surprised.



So, overall, Clubland 7 gets a B+. The earlier clublands were better, but there are some great songs on here, the best being "Coming Back" and "Summer Rain". I would definitely suggest buying this album."
