"For the casual techno fan who hasn't followed the genre since the beginning, I strongly recommend picking this 3 disc set up. CDs 2 & 3 feature some of the genre's defining moments including "Strings Of Life", "LFO", "Energy Flash", and "Positive Education" (just to name a few personal favorites). On CD1 you're treated to some of the more recent efforts by the likes of Green Velvet (La La Land), Layo & Bushwacka (Love Story), and Sven Vath (Mind Games). For the most part these songs appear in full-length mixes, but some (including Lifetimes & Mind Games) are shortened down to 3-4 minutes. Overall though, I'd say it is a worthy investment - may be a little pricey, but getting all these individual tracks would be an amazingly difficult task (and would cost a small fortune). If you've been an avid techno fan for the past decade, you may be sick of most of these tunes and simply find this as another way for Cream to cash in. It may be true, but for someone who wants to take a better look at what techno's all about then this album could be an excellent opportunity."
