"Do not hesitate to purchase this disc if you come across it!This isn't your average girl group collection. But what can you expect from Del-fi,one of the greatest labels ever?!Nearly every song is great, and most deserved to be hits.Buy this c.d.-you won't be disappointed."
A thank you to Del-Fi for being music preservationists!

"Although I keep seeing this compilation in music store "re-sell" bins I refuse to ever part with my copy of this fantastic quirky collection! The Ladybugs start this off with two very peppy "Surf A-go-go" numbers ("Sooner or Later" not being the same version Diane Renay did, BTW); reminding me of "The Lucy Show" episode where they did the take-off of "Shindig" with "Wing-Ding"! Sometimes TV star Lori Martin offers some terrific off-the-wall tunes "Home of the Boy that I Love" ("...God bless America...the home of the 'bu-uh-oy' that I love...") and "Mine Til Monday". Pippy Shannon picks up the lovesick teenaged torch and does "I Pretend", "My Love for Thee" (sounding like a high school girl's love poem put to music, IMO); and the whimsical "Shade of Red" ("Their eyes were so full of surprise, as I walked up to say hello...but the lipstick was still on his face, 'cause his handkerchief moved too slow...")! One-shot wonders Pierre and Anne-Lyse kick it up with a French version of "Turn Around, Turn Around" and The Sisters supply plenty of belty beat with several renditions of pop classics they made their own. Lastly the almost piercing high-notes of Mary Sawrey tops off the collection with "A Lover's Plea" and "Those Memories of You" (...Memories of B-O-B...the Friday dance at El-Mont-Te...!")! Overall a well-rounded blend of "regional rarities" not likely to ever be seen again in vinyl, so enjoy them in CD form! Also comes with a cute liner book full of great pictures and 60's teenage fashion ads!"
