"There is no doubt that Great Britian has produced some outstanding blues performers over the years from Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, early Stones, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Gary Moore, Dick Heckstall-Smith and the list goes on. Unfornunetly, however, none of those greats are included on this disc. Rather, the disc itself contains some lesser known performers such as Alan Price, Stan Webb and Brian Knight. Those included that are perhaps better known include the Goundhogs, Paul Lamb, the Blues Band and Nine Below Zero. One listen to this CD and you will soon know why these individuals and their bands have not been elevated to stardom. Simply put, the performances included on this CD are extremely dismal. Don't get me wrong, guys like Paul Lamb and his KingSnakes, the Groundhogs and Nine Below Zero have all put out some great music over the years. However, you will not find any of those songs included here and the CD serves as a poor introduction to these individuals that might otherwise deserve a listen. Pass!"
