"You may not like all Cameron Crowe movies. As a matter of fact, I found Elizabethtown a bit dissapointing. But one thing you can't argue is that all of them carry an impeccable music selection, something that comes from Crowe's days as a write for Rolling Stone magazine. "Elizabethtown" was no exception to this, and aware of the fact, the movie saw two soundtrack volumes spinning off of it. I have found Volume 2 to be more solid than Volume 1 in general, with 15 tracks that have no waste. Topping the list are the tracks by Tom Petty, Kathleen Edwards and Ryan Adams. I give it five stars: great selections of classics and classics-to-be."
Another great "mix tape" from Cameron Crowe

"As with all his film soundtracks, even if you've never heard the songs or artist before, you're not going to be disappointed. This is the eclectic kind of collection that always leads you to seek out more songs by the artist involved."
Just as good as the 1st

"... so I totally have a soft spot for the movie and soundtracks. I just love the music from all of the soundtracks. Any southern folk/rock appreciater will like it . . . and definately any fan of Patty Griffin will love it. Moon River is great. And if you get a chance, watch the movie twice, trust me, it's the second time that really counts."
