This release celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Five One, Inc ? a very special compilation album by Five One, Inc?s favorite songwriters! All the songs are exclusively written and performed by the artists for this project, featuring exclusive and unreleased tracks from Tim Kasher (Cursive/The Good Life), Jim Ward (Sparta/At The Drive- In), Stephen Brodsky (Cave In), Ryan Ferguson (No Knife), Derek Fudesco (Pretty Girls Make Graves/Murder City Devils), Yoshino Hisashi (Eastern Youth), Robert Nanna (Hey Mercedes/Braid), Masafumi Isobe (Husking Bee), Pedro Carmona (Sister Sonny), Dan Hargest (Pollen) and Arabella Harrison (The And Ors/Jejune). These artists were gracious enough to spend a little time away from their groups and write songs that showcase their individual talents. Many are first-time solo artists and offer the listener a passenger-seat-view at their very first solo efforts. In addition, many of these songwriters are now on the road! Cursive is on tour with The Cure, Sparta has been touring with Incubus, Braid recently finished a reunion tour, Pretty Girls Make Graves will tour with Death Cab For Cutie this fall, and Cave In will begin touring soon.
