Synopsis

Product Description
This album is a celebration of the signature songs of 5 great divas. For this reference sampler album, FIM has carefully selected the best tracks from their archives, particularly looking for tracks that stood out in terms of excellence in performance, vocal articulation, and superior musicality. Includes songs by these world-class singers: Jacintha, Patricia Barber, Esther Ofarim, Ayako Hosokawa and Marie Nakamoto. This is an existing title of the FIM catalog, re-mastered into the new Black Vinyl CD format as a special attraction to customers at half of the price of the (now out-of-print) SACD version. FIM Black Vinyl CD is a new audiophile CD that looks like the old vinyl 45 rpm record, which has a retro appeal.

CD Reviews

5 of the most beautiful femal vocals
P. Lee | santa clara, ca United States | 05/18/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This CD has 5 of the most beautiful female vocals you can find in the world.

I owned lots of CD and this one has the best record quality I have ever heard.

It is like Jacintha singing "Danny Boy" in front of you and you can hear every detail clearly.

Also you will know what real bass sounds likes when listening to "Georgia on My Mind" by Mari Nakamoto.

It will shake your room and blow you away though it is recorded 30 years ago.

And I thought I am in a Jazz restaurant when playing "Beat Goes On" by Patricia Barber. Amazing !

Anyway, give it a try. You won't regret."
