"This is in reference to ALL of the Smooth Jazz Tributes. How did this group (Smooth Jazz All Stars) get the get the monopoly on all the jazz tributes to gospel music? Now I love jazz music, and I really love gospel music, but all the CD's that I have purchased that were a smooth jazz tribute to a gospel artist are very heavy laden in sax. Now, I like sax,(ie. Angella Christie) but this is just too much. You would think that they would allow some of the jazz pianists or other musicians to have some play time. It just starts to get monotonous, and frankley kind of boring. There is no balance with the other instruments. Hence my frustration- How did they get the monopoly? It should be the Quiet Time Players doing the Jazz tributes - or get a clue from Angella Christie. Just frustrated"
