"Ever heard of a little group called Duran Duran? Just a wee bunch of 5 billion or so, I imagine. Apparently whoever compiled volumes 1-9 didn't, because the group is no where to be found. MAJOR oversight! Helloooo? McFlyyyy? Who's smokin' the crack? Other than that, an "awesome" bunch of CDs."

"A generally good CD collection that gives you 1980's pop, rock, hairspray metal, and even a little rap, courtesy of Salt 'N Peppa. I enjoy these CD's, and listen to them often. If you enjoy 1980's music, or are looking for a good cornerstone to start a 1980's music collection, this is a good set to acquire."

"This is a bona fide 80's compilation. Every single of the 30 songs was a Top 20 single in the U.S., including 11 No.1's and 15 other Top 10 singles. The compiler of the box set even went one up on most others, by segregating the songs into themes - Vol.1 - Love Songs, Vol.2 - Pop/Rock, Vol.3 - Dance - adding to the listening value of the set.If anyone wants to know what 80's music was really like over in the U.S., buy this!"

"Well, this CD set was REALLY good. I have 1-3..and I like it and all but... what about that little one hit wonder that ALWAYS makes it to top 10 80's music? You know...the one with the video that was voted best video of the 80's? The one that started music video animation and recieved numerous awards in 1985? HMM? RING A BELL!?! TRY "TAKE ON ME" BY A-HA!!!! anyways, except for that...awesome. that is all..."
