Gumball 3000 is the real life version of the classic ?80s movie "The Cannonball Run" ? it is an annual rally, established in Europe in 1999, where the rich and famous drive supercars and race 3,000 miles across Europe and the US between various destinations. Gumball 3000, the movie, documents last year?s amazing 3,000-mile race from San Francisco to Miami in 6 days, where the drivers paid for all gas, repairs and speeding tickets along the way, while pushing their high-performance vehicles to their absolute limit. The accompanying soundtrack is a funky 18-track selection of adrenaline induced tunes from the likes of Howie B, The Herbaliser, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Mr. Scruff. Out on DVD in February, the film features guest appearances from Jodie Kidd, The Cuban Brothers, Tony Hawk, and Jackass? Ryan Dunn and narrated by Burt Reynolds.
