CD Reviews
Great idea, however I love vol. 1 thru 4

"I consider myself old school so I keep vol. 1-4 in all my vehicles. I like to hear the sax, trumpet, bass guitar, etc. No electric techno sounds. Everyone else rated this cd 5 stars but I wish Hidden Beach would go back to it's roots and bring back the contemporary jazz. If you are going to use drums, use a basic drumset. I did listen to the songs online before I purchased it, but I figured it would sound better in my car. NOT!!!!
I am going to sell my copy of Vol. 6 because the only song I could stomach was the last one. Flava in your ear. I know a lot of hard work was put into this project and I'm not knocking that. It's just that I am not feeling it. I don't adapt to change very well when it comes to music."
Give the drummer some more!!!!

"I purchased Unwrapped vol.6 yesterday and I've been playing it ever since. Tony Royster Jr. is BANANAS. I must admitt that the drums have never been my favorite instrument but Tony may change that. His talent is undeniable, the tracks are off the hook, the production is tight. Hidden Beach is a label which has always produced high quality products, they hooked AL B SURE up with his best album since his debut. UNWRAPPED VOL.6 like the previous volumes is a must-have."

"This marriage of Hip-Hop/R&B and Jazz is the perfect remedy to unwinding. Volume 6 totally delivers a smooth blend of Hip-Hop Jazz Soul!!!"
Another Solid Volume.....

"As I've stated in other reviews, Hidden Beach is one of my favorite labels, and the Unwrapped series (which I own all of them), have never disappointed. I thought this was a novel idea to "Give the Drummer Some", just think about how many times we've heard the minster of music give the drummer some in church... :) so why not with an Unwrapped project? I basically listen to the Unwrapped projects when I want to have a little more "Hip-Hop" in my jazz without all the vulgar and simple lyrics or to include "real" musicians into my kids musical diet. This project is on par with the other 5. My favorites on this project are "Lollipop," "Best I Ever Had," and "Flava In Ya Ear." Again, Hidden Beach and the Unwrapped series never disappoint."
Unwrapped Vol. 6 is AWESOME

"I have been a fan of the Unwrapped series and they have always been great. But Vol. 6 is off the hook. Ton Royster Jr. is an amazing drummer and an awesome producer which is probably why this volume is so good. Everyone should get this album. Its such a great twist on the hottest hip- hop and R&B songs out there today!!!"
