"I'm not a veteran, and no, I wasn't anywhere near alive when these songs were recorded or when the war was going on, but I love this CD all the same.I'm only seventeen, but in light of the upcoming war and the conflicts, I bought this CD and absolutely adored it.Whether you're a veteran, a nostalgic hippie, a grandmother, a pacficist, or maybe you're just a teen who's sick of songs with the words "baby" and "let's get on the dance floor" - I recommend this CD for you."

"I listened to this CD with a Vietnam Veteran. Not only did it make the hair stand up on the back of my neck, but on his as well. The second CD with the newscasts was especilly poignant. The music from that era makes you realize how much we, as a nation, have been through since that time."
