"This album is for us who remember the days of muscle cars, drag racing and cruising on Friday and Saturday nights. Many of the songs on this album were commissioned by the Big-3 Automakers to be made by famous rock groups. In fact, many of these groups performed at local car dealerships when the new year cars were previewed in September or October of each year. SS-396 by Paul Revere and the Raiders was song for that famous Chevrolet engine placed in the 1966 Chevelle Super Sport as well as the 1967 Camaro. The 409 cubic inch engine was brought out in 1962 - 1963. So, come on back to a time of cruising and dreaming about your ideal muscle car. Set back, listen to the roar and smell the smoking "red-line" tires as they come off the line down a deserted stretch of road."

"My 6 year old loves listening to the oldies with his Pap so, when he got this for Christmas, he loved it. He cranks it up and plays with his hot rod cars. And the cover makes it that much more cool."
