"Know that feeling of disappointment you get when you take a chance and buy a CD because you like one song and you hope the rest will be as good? This is worse. It might be okay for background music in a club where no one's really listening. I bought it because I love the A3 song on the disc, or at least I thought I did -- it's nothing at all like the original version. Fans of techno synth experimentation may like this disc, as will those who think more bass will make anything a classic, but those who prefer more melody, lyrics and other, more "pop" musical attributes will not. Perhaps I'm just not cool enough to appreciate this."

Finally, drum and bass!

"After moving to the US from London I have suffered some major dissapointments with the drum and bass scene here. It is repetitive, boring and very mainstream. Drum and bass is supposed to be sporadic, out there. It's sound is unique and underground, beats and hardcore bass mixed with trance like melodies, just what this album has to offer. This c.d. leans more towards the European side of things, a completely different scene from the one over here. If you are into the U.S. brand of poppy style fake d and b, don't try this album, go and buy some of that "intelligent" drum and bass stuff."

"Finally....a break beat cd with diversity! Infinite Beat Vol. 1 has got raw & phenomenal tracks that stir the senses and stimulate the mind. Pure ear candy. This disc was able to keep the break beat rhythm without having every track sounding blatantly familiar such as Todd Terry managed pull off. I highly recommend this CD for anyone who wants a "break" from the ol' routine. For more of these supreme sounds, look for Moving Shadow 99.1 (E-Z Rollers)."
