"If you're just getting into the B-3 sound, this is a pretty greasy place to start, though there are some compilations that I happen to prefer.. check out THE BLUE NOTE YEARS : Vol. 3 : Organ and Soul, and also So Blue So Funky, B3in in Jazz or if you already have an idea what artists get your groove going, the LEGENDS OF ACID JAZZ SERIES (which include compilations with artists such as Johnny Hammond Smith, Charles Kynard, Leon Spencer, Groove Holmes and others.) !This however is a GREAT CD ! ! !"
This Disk is Smokin'!

"This disk has a wonderful variety of groovin organ jazz... The great thing about this disk is that it exposes you to a variety of musicians, so you can subsequently explore the different sounds you hear..."
Some great listening

"A great CD for those liking jazz organ music. What I like about this CD is the variation of sounds from track to track. I have other organ jazz CDs, but they are more homogeneous across tracks; this one sounds more like a radio program."
