"I was elated when I first ran across this CD some years ago. It contains songs, I thought, I would never hear again. I used to own many of these songs on vinyl back in the day, many of which are now rare collectables. Of the hundreds of CD's I own, this is still one of my favorites. Sweet Soul is my main music interest and this CD, in my opinion, is one of the sweetest. I encourage all sweet soul aficianados, definitely pick this one up. I gaurantee you will be just as elated."

"I was driving south bound on the FDR listening to 88.3 and Felix Hernandez when a song came through my speakers. "I'm still Here" by The Notations.
I hadn't heard this song in many years and I had forgotten the tune. But there I was singing every word at the top of my lungs. The sweet harmonies and the baleful solo begging for another chance. OMG when I got home I rushed to the computer looking for the song. And at last found it in this compilation, grouped together with other fine songs from back in the day. Joe Bataan, the Delfonics, The Masqueraders, The Latinos, Brenda and the Tabulations and so much more.Hits Anthology (The Escorts) Give a listen to this! Hmm, music you can taste! BTW I didn't even pay anywhere near 60 dollars for this CD maybe I was just lucky. Or "Maybe I was just talking out of my head"."
