CD Reviews

Absolutely Terrible CD with Music Not Meant For Children
Mediaman | USA | 04/05/2009
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This CD was advertised in the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards--but even though it's sung by kids and the cover says it's for kids 4 to 12, the music on it is almost totally inappropriate for young children. Songs talk about lovers, sleeping around and other very adult topics that sound creepy when coming from children. These kids can't sing well, so the reverb is cranked up to the point that you can't understand some of the lyrics--and the ones you can understand you don't believe little children should be singing!

Why would little kids be singing Coldplay, KISS, Weezer or even The Ramones? It's like bad KidzBop, where the songs aren't just pop hits but true rock songs that aren't meant for young ears.

Then to balance 15 bad songs they toss in a Christian song (from Relient K) and a Jonas Brothers song (that is listed on the cover but not on the insert inside!?!).

The cover also says "Family Friendly." HA! Which family? The Osbournes? The Simmons? Anyone else should stay far away from this. (A second one is coming out in the summer!) I wish I could get my money back!"
