"If you know the MASTERPIECE CD series, you'll know what to expect: more hard-to-find, sought-after previously 12"/LP-only mixes of prime 80s soul/funk/dance remasterd on CD for collectors! This latest edition isn't as solid as Volumes 1 & 2, but still is worth the price of admission: the "promo" remix of ROSE ROYCE's "Best Love," the long mix of NUANCE's "Loveride" (where is the whole album SING DANCE RAP ROMANCE on CD, people?!), and key tracks by BARBARA ROY, TWILIGHT 22, SUNFIRE (sounds like Reggie & Lucas/Mtume) and Rick Astley-soundalike ALLAN HARRIS ripping off "Never Gonna Give You Up" to PWL effect - nice tracks all the way around, worth dropping your change on."
