This Music results from an awareness that many folks have little or no knowledge about the oceans. The more one knows about oceans, the more they appreciate them, the more they appreciate them, the more they will love them, the more you love something, the more you'll protect it.
Music provides a quick way to learn. Recent studies indicate the most efficient mode to educate the younger generation is via "Rap" Music. It delivers the most amount of data in the least amount time.
Yet many scientists & management types were uncomfortable with Rapper music, so it was a hard sell. We took a "Soft-Rap" approach, using a few demo-prototype songs, allowing adults, teens & pre-school kids to provide feedback.
The results were delightful, everyone just loved the music, even the doubters! What really took everyone by surprise, was the Music Writers, Orchestra, Singers, Back Up-Do-Wa-Singers, Recording Staff, Producers, and Soundmen, all soaked up tons of Ocean Knowledge.
It was astounding how much & how fast they learned, in the process, developing a strong healthy "Emotion for the Ocean."
Soon everyone was deeply involved, feeling they were key-note players on the cutting edge of something new. Creating the World's first "Ocean-Rap-Education Music", everyone turned into a dedicated unpaid volunteer.
Results; Lots of excellent songs were produced. A total of 16 of those produced can be heard on this "Moods of the Ocean" disk. The remaining songs will be released during following phases of this "Ocean Education" project.
