"Otis Grand, along with Anson Funderburgh and Debbie Davis have created a blues guitar masterpiece. It rocks like crazy from the opening phrase of Guitars On Fire and keeps you tapping your foot and rocking your head for every passage and tune afterwards. The sound is alive and in your face. The horn arrangements fit perfect and you get the feeling that you are hearing new blues classics. It's truly a great guitar/blues album. Otis' playing is at it's finest - raw - determined - and unpredictable. It's obvious he know the idiom and not just a bunch of guitar licks. Anson also plays some of his finest material in years. It's good to hear him with another group for a change. I would highly recommend this album to anyone who loves to boogie to blues and/or who loves guitars.S. Staples New Orleans, LA"

"This is a genius CD!!!! I'm no music critic, the only thing I know is what I like . . .And I like this CD! It gets me right where it is supposed to get me, in my heart and soul!! Gives me those goose bumps!!!! The combination of Otis Grand with Debbie Davies and Anson Funderburgh is terrific. They really got it going on! And I don't want to not mention all the other musicians who make this CD what it is. They all really know the BLUES and they play it the way it should be played! I believe this to be one of those musical experiences that someone (Otis) thought up and then IT JUST HAPPENED CAUSE IT WAS MEANT TO BE! I could go on & on why I think this CD is so great, but I really think it speaks for itself. Listen to it! I'm listening to it right now and keep getting lost in the music and forgetting I'm typing a reveiw. So with that I'm off to enjoy! Signed, Deliplater"
