"What is Neo-Goth? I think that people are forgetting that "goth music" does not just mean death rock. It could be mope rock like Morrissey or Bauhaus, or it could be energetic and angry like Apoptygma Berzerk. This album is called "Neo-Goth" because I am guessing that Cleopatra records (the company that distributed this album)wanted a compliation of energetic dance-floor goth. However when they realized that they had too many favorites their list was split up into two box sets: "This is Neo Goth", and "This is Industrial". To me, this album says it all. If you are a fan of VNV, Assamblage 23, and Apop, then buy this album!"
Deffinintly worth the money

"I found this compilation cd in the back corner of some store, and after reading the list of groups on it, I decided to buy it. This is a group of songs by variouse goth, darkwave, EBM, and industrial bands, but most of them are done in a death rave format. Now, if anyone tells you that this isn't goth, they obviously are not aware of what goth is. Goth music is not simply just a kind of music, but it is actually a group of musical styles that has branched off forming variouse kinds, such as goth-industiral, certain EBM, darkwave, ethereal and dark ambient to name a few. Anyway, back to the review, this compilation features many of the top names in the afor said styles. A great compilation for anyone who frequents death raves, or just enjoys electronically driven music."
Don't skip out on this great compilation.

"This is the compilations to beat all other compilations. It's well worth the money. All of the songs are top notch by some of the best artists of the genre. Even if you have a lot of these songs already, you must get this for all the great remixes (Cruxshadows remixed by Apoptygma Berzerk is DIVINE).
This isnt something you can live without.
The first two discs are some great songs, and the thrid disc is an amazing non stop mix by DJ RiB. (who does great live DJ events too).
Don't pass this up!"
For fans of NeoGoth or Darkwave...This is it.

"This album singlehandedly introduced me into a thrilling new genre. I'm very eclectic in my tastes, but I had no idea what I was missing before listening to NeoGoth. Being a NIN fan, I thought it might be worth buying, but MY GOD! It is fantastic! If you like any kind of techno, you may find something new here to appreciate.
If you are a neogoth/darkwave/dark electronic fan, you will definitely want this album. Even if you are an industrial/EBM fan, you may find that this album is worth your time. Yes, there are a few artists/songs on here that are gar-bahj. But altogether, it is wicked."
