"I love this CD/DVD. Features new material by Del, J5, Heiroglyphics, Swollen Members, Dilated peoples and some other sick artists. This cd is an even full sound of some of the best talent in hiphop. The sound is deep, bassy and original. I love "the Del" showing up on a few other tracks. The DVD is a nice addition. Featuring the movie One Big Trip. A bunch of guys and girls going cross-country doing the best "highs" while waiting for the millenium and interviewing people on the street. The DVD also features other extras. Like interviews. News reports and the informercial had me laughing non-stop. I highly recommend this item."

"I'm not here to complain about how disappointed I am, mostly because I'm not. For thirteen dollars, this is quality product...proportionately speaking of course. Anyhow, the cd aspect--it's not so great, not so bad. Soweto is a great track indubitably and there's a couple other head nodders, I didn't expect anything fantastic lyrically considering the roster. I will argue that the film is interesting and entertaining, however it's not a film. It's more of a documentary and what do you expect...that's the description. It's more accurately a combination of both. It's a story depicted as a documentary. It's not a fabulous voyage, it's not a wonderful adventure, it's just a curiously interesting movie about the people this group encounters, the places they visit, the obvious conflict and dilemma involved among those, and the things they do recreationally along the way. There is a climax, there is conflict, there's emotion, happiness, sadness, etc. Many elements of a thorough drama. The plot isn't exceptional but like I repeat, what do you expect? It's satisfactory by any means though. Just to watch at least once. So to conclude this, if you're expecting this extremely great film that never made a theatrical release...you'll be disappointed. If you're a realist and expect the creative depiction and artistic expression of a collective perception on life...you'll be easily satisfied. I give it a five because it's unique enough in its own that it was done for the 'hip-hop' venue. I based this opinion on the overall product though, not each element of cd vs. dvd. But collectively, it's worth a five to me."
The music part is great, but the movie...

"I love the CD side; it's great hip-hop. But the DVD side itself, maybe oversimply put, is just about a bunch of white people having fun. There is not even much hip-hop music in the movie. Not what I (or you?) expected."

"Hiero kills this CD. Soweto is the sickest. Not to put down any of the others either because the CD is ill front beginning to end."

"This album puts to shame all that horrible commercial hip-hop that people will buy this year. In 13 tracks perfect tracks you get to enjoy the finest artists in hip-hop today. From Del, and the rest of the Hiroglyphics crew, J-Ro of tha Liks, Royce Da 5'9", Dilated, Jurassic 5, to my favorite artists on the whole planet (and the most slept on group since they are from Canada we Americans have no idea what we are missing across the border) Swollen Members. This album is like a fine wine. It goes down so smooth that you do not even notice it. And yet you are left still wanting more. You will not find a better cd put out this year."
